Men's Steak Fry

It's that time of year again -- the last days of great grilling and FOOTBALL!

We will be having a Men's Steak Fry on Monday, September 8 starting at 5:30 p.m. Following the meal we will watch the Vikings football game on television. Cost is $ 15.00 for a manly, meaty meal and fantastic football fellowship! Sign up at the church before or after services, or call the church office at 952-934-5433 to register.

School of Ministry

Like it or not, the summer is slowly drawing to a close, and we can already sense the "get ready for fall" feeling in the air! "September" means lots of things, one of which is "getting back to school" for many people. How about you? Are you sensing a leading of the Lord to "get back into the School of the Holy Spirit?"

Here at Resurrection Life, we offer a wonderful, unique School of Ministry for men and women who desire to be mentored, trained, and encouraged in being a vessel of honor for the Master's use. Classes meet one Saturday a month, September through June.

Course content is extremely varied, in depth, and very "hands on" with ministry and prayer each time classes convene.

We are asking you to please look through the two attachments to this email and ask the Lord if YOU should sign up for the Rez Life Ministry Institute. Each year our students testify of life changing experiences that come through their participation in the school. Perhaps it is time for you to experience some of these same blessings!

A Special Weekend for Ladies

Ladies, please mark your calendars for this special weekend of ministry. SEPTEMBER 26-27. We have special speakers Rev. Helen Trowbridge, Rev. Becky Murphy, and Pastor Sharon Predovich joining us. Friday night we will have a meeting at 7pm. Saturday there will be meetings at 10am, 2pm, and 7pm. REGISTRATION IS FREE and all meetings will be held at Resurrection Life Church (16397 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie). Invite a friend to attend with you! This will be a special weeked to be refreshed, renewed, restored

Uganda Mission Outreach

As you may know, we have a team of ten ladies going to Uganda this coming October to minister and hold medical clinics. The team is busy raising not only their personal expenses, but also the expenses involved in such outreaches. Money is needed for event promotions, venue rentals, food for attending pastors, bus fares for attending pastors, humanitarian outreach, medicines for the free clinics, and so on.

Team members are holding two special fundraisers to help cover these general expenses.

1. GARAGE SALE: Thursday, Friday, Saturday -- August 28-29-30. If you have items you could donate to this sale, please bring them to Resurrection Life Church no later than this Sunday, August 24. Please be sure to only bring clean, unbroken items.

2. PAPA MURPHY'S COUPONS: The team is selling Papa Murphy Pizza Coupon Cards for just $ 5.00 each. The cards have a retail value of $ 30 worth of pizza. Pick up several cards at the end of all church services. These could make great gifts for the kid who mows your lawn, your postman, or anyone else you might want to bless this summer!

Family Camp--Aug 22, 23, 24

We want to remind you and your family about our upcoming FAMILY CAMP that takes place this coming weekend, August 22-23-24. This "CAMP EVENT" is open to singles, families, friends...everyone! You can camp overnight or just come out for the day or even just a meal! This annual Rez Life tradition is always a lot of fun. We would love to have you join us!!!

This Sunday the team that is going to Washington DC to Pray for America is serving a Pancake Breakfast after both morning services. Profits will go towards the expenses of their prayer trip.
