PRAYER REQUEST from Rez Life Church

Dear Rez Family and Friends,

Some of you may know that our children's pastor Melissa Hanson recently had a baby the first week in December.  Baby Mariah is currently in the intensive care unit with RSV - a respiratory infectious disease.  She has been in the ICU since Saturday.  They are giving her oxygen periodically and nebulizer treatments.  She has lots of congestion and is having difficulty breathing at times.  Please pray for a quick recovery and complete healing for little Mariah.  Thank you so much for your prayers!

Christmas Eve Service at REZ LIFE CHURCH

Dear Friends and Family of Resurrection Life Church,

Just a quick reminder that there will be a one hour Christmas Eve Service starting at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 at Rez Life.  It will be a special family time of carols, the Christmas Story, and a Christmas Eve message.  Please join us if you can!  Have a blessed Christmas!

Meal this Sunday at Resurrection Life Church

Dear Friends and Family of Resurrection Life Church,

Just a reminder that this Sunday we will be having one combined service at 10:00 a.m.  During the service the original musical THE ROAD TO BETHLEHEM will be presented.  The first presentation last night was a great hit.  We are hearing all kinds of raves today about how fabulous this special Christmas production was.  Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  You won't want to miss it!

IN ADDITION to the drama, we will be offering a meal at the end of the service to raise some final "Christmas funds" for the young men at Home Again in Kampala, Uganda. The menu will be:  Ham, Cheesy Potatoes, Vegetables, and Dessert.  A donation towards the Christmas Fund for Home Again will be a huge blessing as you share this meal with others here at Rez Life this Sunday.

Toy Collection THIS SUNDAY at Rez Life Church

We will be collecting toys THIS SUNDAY for inner city children.  This is a ministry we partner with each year with Vern Norton.  Toys should cover the age range of infant through age eighteen.  You can bring your donations in any time this week to the church office or bring them on Sunday morning.

Vern will pick up the toys later this Sunday afternoon or Monday morning, so if you plan on participating, toys must be at the church by Sunday.

Special Meeting at Rez Life: "The Economy and the Christian Response"

Dear Friends and Family of Resurrection Life Church,

We will be holding a special meeting on Monday, December 22nd at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Rez Life. We will be having an open discussion about the economy and the Christian response to it.  These are topics of great relevance to each of us, especially at this current time in our nation.  Everyone is welcome.

Some of the topics we will discuss include:

1. The current state of the economy (both U.S and Globally)

2. What the government is doing, and how it affects me.

3. How can we influence the future?

4. The future of the economy

     - Recession

     - Depression

     - Hyperinflation

5. What can we do to prepare?  

Pastor Bill Predovich will be facilitating the meeting.  Several businessmen from the congregation will contribute to the open forum of discussion as well.  We will be looking at both the practical and the spiritual sides of the economy, all from a Biblical perspective.

"The Road to Bethlehem" Christmas Program at Rez Life

Dear Friends and Members of Resurrection Life Church,

We are excited to remind you about our wonderful Christmas program taking place this week at Rez Life Church!  This year's presentation is titled "The Road To Bethlehem" and boasts a cast of almost sixty participants.  It is an original musical created by Scott and Maria Erickson.  There will be two performances:  Wednesday, December 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 21 at 10:00 a.m.  (Please note we will be having only one Sunday morning service this Sunday.)

Please bring your neighbors, relatives, and friends, as this is going to be a wonderful presentation of the Christmas message done in a unique contemporary style.  We know those who attend will truly be touched by the Lord.  No tickets required.

Mall of America Event, Dec. 14

The RezLife Singers and Dancers along with singers from Moving On Up Church will be doing a presentation in The West Market of the MOA on Dec. 14 at 3:00pm. Please be in prayer for this outreach and come watch!

Youth -- New Years Eve BASH!!!

All YOUTH are invited to our New Year’s Eve BASH on Dec. 31st — beginning at 7pm and ending at 12:30am. It will take place here at the church with a $10.00 cover charge. The 2008 Club 3 Degrees Battle of the Bands finalist, HYLAND, will be playing!

Christmas Caroling
