Report # 4 from Lucena City

Greetings this morning from Lucena City!

 

Yesterday was another full day of activity.  P Sharon ministered to all the pastors and leaders of Good News Fellowship -- Jane's home church.There were about 100 there and she ministered two really strong messages--- Do Not Listen to an Evil Report was the first message and the second was The Root of Bitterness -- both strong messages that the Holy Spirit spoke through.  We concluded with communion and individual prayer.  It was powerful, VERY powerful.  Now we pray the Holy Spirit continues to move in their hearts.

 

We had lunch with them and then P Sharon concluded with a message about a Passion for the Fire of God.  It was a blessed day, but very hot by the time we returned to the hotel -- the church doesn't have a/c so you know it was sweaty and sticky.  We know you all are depressed about the very cool fall you are having, but we are having a very HOT extension of our summer. 

 

We just stayed in the hotel last night and rested.  P Sharon has a HUGE day today so please be praying for her -- for the wisdom of the Lord.  She will be meeting with Jane's Board first, then with Jane's husband, and then with Jane and her husband together.  Please pray for direction of God in all that is said and done.

 

And now for a poem P Sharon wrote two nights ago.....

 

"The Night I Heard You Were Here"

 

I had just spoke on miracles and the power of God,

Sitting in the Philippines ministering abroad.

 

Got back to my room and heard I had a call,

Wondering in my heart -- did someone fall?

 

When to my surprise and to my delight

Another phone call came later that night.

 

Not to complain or report something bad

But to hear my daughter talk and reveal what she had.

 

A baby! A tiny little baby tucked in her womb.

A baby! A tiny little baby that will be coming in June.

 

What joy in my heart to hear such news in the night

What excitement to remember I had just spoken on His might!

 

The God of wonder, creation and light,

The God Who does miracles has visited my night!

 

Thank You Lord for the blessing of life,

Thank You Lord, God of miracles,

For blessing my life!
